Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Explavio collects, why, and who we share it with.
Data we collect
- Account data — your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture.
- Content — the screen recordings you upload, and the scripts, voiceovers and videos generated from them.
- Usage data — basic logs such as pages visited and errors, used to keep the Service running.
How we use it
To provide the Service: authenticating you, storing your projects, generating scripts and voiceovers, and rendering videos. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your recordings to train AI models.
Who processes your data
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication, database, file storage |
| Vercel | Website hosting |
| Anthropic | Generating tutorial scripts from your recording |
| ElevenLabs | Generating voiceover audio |
| Sign-in, if you choose Google sign-in |
Retention
We keep your projects until you delete them or close your account. Deleting a project removes its recording, script and audio from our storage.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. If you are in the UK, EU or a similar jurisdiction, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To exercise any of these, contact us.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. Recordings are served through short-lived signed URLs. No system is perfectly secure, and Explavio is early-stage software.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
